Diski Boyz net 3 points after clash with Magesi FC

The junior Rich Boyz will next face Durban City (12th) on Saturday

AFTER a horrible run of defeats, the Richards Bay FC U23 side sparkled with a fine response on Saturday.

The scales were loaded against them when they travelled to Bloemfontein to take on Magesi FC, but a solid defensive effort and the only goal of the game saw three valuable DStv Diski Challenge points in the bag.

It was Asimbonge Mdunge who netted in the 75th minute after a goalless first half, but an all-round team effort secured the win and a climb to 9th place on the log.

The junior Rich Boyz will next face Durban City (12th) on Saturday.
