WATCH: SPCA calls on pet owners to take advantage of free Friday rabies clinic in Empangeni

Free rabies clinic hosted by Empangeni SPCA will run until 4pm today (Friday) on open grass opposite Zululand Observer offices

EMPANGENI SPCA has urged pet owners in the area to come forward and have their pets vaccinated against rabies, following reports of several positive cases in the region.

This appeal was made during a free vaccination drive being held at Central Park in Empangeni today (Friday), on the grass opposite the Zululand Observer offices.

Speaking to the Zululand Observer, SPCA kennel supervisor Don Ntsele encouraged residents to take advantage of the opportunity to protect their animals and the wider community.

“We are here to provide free vaccinations for the Empangeni community. We urge everyone to bring their animals so they can be vaccinated,” said Ntsele.

The vaccination campaign will continue until 4pm today.
