Women’s World Day of Prayer in the Bay

Women of different races, cultures and denominations to gather in fellowship at prayer session in Richards Bay

Women across the city, including ministry leaders and prayer warriors, are invited to unite in prayer for nations, families, churches and personal transformation at the Women’s World Day of Prayer in Richards Bay.

Hosted by City Kingdom Network, the event will take place on Friday, 6 March at Shalom Lighthouse Ministries, 25 Fish Tail, Brackenham at 7pm.

This year, prayers will focus on Nigeria under the theme ‘I Will Give You Rest’. This reflects God’s heart to restore weary souls, strengthen His daughters, and bring divine peace and renewal.

The annual gathering is a powerful time of encounter, healing, breakthrough and prophetic release.

The Women’s World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement of Christian women. On the first Friday of March each year, women in more than 170 countries come together in prayer and action for peace and justice.

The event gathers women of different races, cultures and denominations in fellowship as they seek the presence of God.
