Ulundi Municipality walked away with four trophies from the Municipal Excellence Awards at the Durban ICC on Thursday.

These included:

– Best Performing Ward Committees in Ward 1

Ulundi Mayor Wilson Ntshangase expressed his appreciation to the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs for recognising the hard work, commitment and dedication demonstrated by Ulundi Municipality.

“These awards are a confirmation that when we work together with commitment, transparency, and accountability, we can deliver meaningful services to our communities.

“These achievements are a testament to the collective effort of our councillors, ward committees, municipal management, officials, and most importantly, the communities we serve.”

He extended further thanks to the ward committees and the administration under the municipal manager.

“We dedicate these awards to the people of Ulundi who continue to support and participate in the development of our municipality. Let this achievement remind us that excellence in local government is not a destination but a continuous journey,” he said.
