Richards Bay sunrise Easter service open to all

Community encouraged to join this year's Easter Sunrise service in Richards Bay,

The Richards Bay Ministers Fraternal is excited to invite city residents to the annual Easter Sunrise Service at Alkantstrand on Easter morning, 5 April.

This is a collaboration between several churches in Richards Bay, along with the municipality graciously allowing use of the venue.

Last year was an awesome testimony to the beauty of unity in community as well over 2 000 people gathering to celebrate their faith.

Families are advised to arrive from 5am for the 6am service time, in order to catch the sunrise as they celebrate Easter together.

Please bring camping chairs, blankets, sunglasses, and perhaps pack a picnic basket as a number of folks will be staying after the service to enjoy the morning together.

Free coffee will be served and specialty coffee will be for sale before and after the service.

In terms of logistics, volunteers from churches across the city will be assisting with parking, ushering, assisting the elderly, medical emergencies, and even cutting the grass the day before.
