Oval track is licensed to thrill this weekend

High stakes, roaring engines and fierce competition expected at the oval track in Richards Bay

Motorsport fans are in for an adrenaline-packed spectacle on Saturday, 4 April as Richards Bay Motorsport Promotions hosts an action-filled day of racing at the local oval.

Headlining the event is the much-anticipated ZLD Championships alongside the electrifying Blood In, Blood Out V8 Sprint Car Tour.

A total of 13 powerful V8 sprint cars will take to the track, promising a thunderous display of speed, skill and raw horsepower that is sure to captivate the crowd.

In addition to the headline events, a wide range of racing categories will battle it out in their respective regional championships.

These include 1/4 Midgets, Junior Stockrods, Stockrods, 1660 Saloons, 2L Hotrods, 2.1 Modifieds, and Hotrods.

Each class brings its own unique style of racing, ensuring non-stop entertainment throughout the day.

With high stakes, roaring engines and fierce competition, the event is expected to draw motorsport enthusiasts from across the region.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best viewing spots for what promises to be one of the most exciting motorsport events on the local calendar.

Gates are expected to open at 10am, with racing set to begin at 5pm. Gate entry is R120 for adults and R60 for children.
