My Africa Dance comes to Empangeni and Ulundi
Ulozolo stopped at eThekwini on Saturday, 18 July, will visit Harry Gwala on Friday, 24 July, Amajuba on Tuesday, 28 July and Ugu District on Thursday, 30 July
PUPILS in Empangeni and Ulundi are in for a cultural treat as Ulozolo Youth Organisation brings its acclaimed My Africa Dance production to local schools.
The contemporary dance, drama and music production celebrates South Africa’s democratic journey while reminding audiences of the importance of honouring our forefathers in the country’s ongoing quest for freedom, unity and democracy.

The school tour forms part of a July programme, visiting six districts across KZN, with Empangeni hosting performances on Saturday, 25 July and Ulundi on Sunday,26 July.

“This is a much-anticipated tour where educational stories of our democracy are celebrated, and where unity and integration depict our true democracy,” said choreographer Lucky Cele from Ulozolo Youth Organisation.
