Truck loses a container in an accident on the N2 near Canefields
The N2 near canefields is temporarily closed for the recovery of a container after a truck lost its load earlier today (Wednesday).
Only one emergency lane is open for a stop-and-go.
It is reported that the driver was travelling towards Mtubatuba when the truck’s steering wheel allegedly locked, causing him to lose control of the heavy motor vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Motorists travelling along the route are urged to exercise patience or use an alternative route as work is in progress.
