Tune in for Unizulu’s Women’s Month webinar

GBV and child abuse under discussion as guest speakers, panellists and attendees deepen dialogues and unpack practical solutions

JOIN the Unizulu Department of Law as they tackle gender-based violence (GBV) and child abuse in their Women’s Month webinar today (Wednesday) at 11.30am.


Looking at best practices to address this scourge, the talk will focus on one of South Africa most urgent social challenges and reflect on progress made in advancing women’s rights.

The session will also interrogate how tradition, culture, and religion intersect with GBV, and impact prevention efforts.


The webinar will feature two keynote speakers: Prof Seedat from the University of Cape Town and the Esq Gladys Emmanuel from the Tabitha Empowerment Centre in Nigeria.
