Big acts lined up for Dolosfees

ANGUS band and Prime Circle are set to perform at this year's Dolosfees to be held in Richards Bay

What do Prime Circle, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Fatman, Tino, ANGUS band, Saxby Twins and Local is Lekker have in common?

They are all the artists that will be performing at this year’s Dolosfees!

One of the highlights on the local entertainment calendar, the Dolosfees is set to take place from Thursday, 24 to Saturday, 26 September on the open veld near Alkantstrand.

Being a public holiday, festivities on Thursday, 24 September start at 8am with a Heritage Day fun run at Zululand Multi-Sport Club.

Festival-goers can look forward to an action-packed programme that includes the Miss Dolosfees beauty pageant, art classes presented by Jamyn, a Plankie braai and food tasting, skateboarding competition, and plenty of stalls to browse.

Enjoy the performances by Richards Bay Primary School’s marimba band, culture dancers and Richards Bay Dance Company, as well the Zululand’s Got Talent contenders before the main acts take to the stage.

For the kids, there will be games with Survivor Rob Bentele, inflatables to play to their heart’s content, as well as babysitting offered by Little Musketeers staff.

Buy your tickets before 23 September and pay only R350 per person for the whole weekend, or from R100 to R180 for one day only.

Kids between 6 and 12 pay only R50 per day, while children under 6 get in free.
