Attention is specifically drawn to the fact that in terms of Section 50(2) of the Act an objection must be in relation to the valuation of a specific individual property and not against the supplementary valuation roll as such. Owners wishing to object to their property`s valuation, or a valuation of a specific individual property, must submit an objection in writing on the prescribed manner. Please note the office hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00. In addition, the first supplementary Valuation Roll is available on Council`s website (Link): https://www.umhlathuze.gov.za/index.php/property- valuations The form for the lodging of an objection is obtainable at the above-mentioned offices and website. The completed objection forms must be returned to the municipal offices on or before the 18 May 2026. Please note that late objections will not be accepted. Die aandag word spesifiek gevestig op die feit dat ingevolge Artikel 50(2) van die Wet `n beswaar met betrekking tot die waardasie van `n spesifieke individuele eiendom moet wees en nie teen die aanvullende waardasierol as sodanig nie. Eienaars wat beswaar wil maak teen hul eiendom se waardasie, of `n waardasie van `n spesifieke individuele eiendom, moet `n beswaar skriftelik op die voorgeskrewe wyse indien.
