INVITATION TO REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED AND AFFECTED PARTY AND COMMENT ON THE BASIC ASSESSMENT FOR MINING PERMIT APPLICATION.

KZN30/5/1/3/2/11227MP Notice is hereby given of the intent to compile a Basic Assessment and Environmental Management Programme for an aggregate mining permit Applications for Zibumbe Blocks Manufactures (Pty) Ltd in terms of section 16 (2) Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2008) and Chapter 6 of EIA Regulation, 2014 as amended of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998), as amended.
PROJECT LOCATION
The proposed project is located on certain portion of portion R of Reserve NO 16 15836 HV located within Umkhanyakude Magisterial District in Kwazulu Natal Province, South Africa. The Mining permit area is located approximately 14 km North of Jozini town and covers an area of approximately 3.12 Hectares. The central coordinates of the project area are Longitude: 32.082040 Latitude: -27.299030.

Interested and Affected Parties are invited to register and provide written comments together with the above reference number, their name, email address and contact details to the contact person indicated below within 30 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
The Basic Assessment Report and Environmental Management Programme for the above-mentioned project will be made available electronically and in hard copy for public review and comment at the public places listed below.
