CONGRATULATIONS to Captain Zwane and the Mtunzini police!

Regarding the article written in the Zululand Observer on 2 September, ‘Gang of alleged robbers nabbed’, I found myself jumping for joy to the news of these gang members’ final days of free looting.

Our little village of Mtunzini and surrounding areas have been terrorised for far too long by these criminals. As a Mtunzini resident, I am all too familiar with the frequent and restless nights spent wide awake hoping that my house is not next on the list of targets.

The dedication demonstrated by the police in our local area has finally paid off and on behalf of the Mtunzini residents, I can say that it is much appreciated.

We are grateful for the work ethic shown in the apprehension of these five suspects and hope that Mtunzini’s reputation for being a house robbery hotspot will be overcome.
