EMPANGENI’S roads are beginning to look like a fantastic patchwork craft project.

Every time a new pothole pops up, it is simply filled with a bucket of low-grade filler that lasts just several short months.

I have complained several times about potholes in Durnford Road, and (sometimes) they are repaired, only to re-appear once again.

Why use inferior products and create twice the work and expense?

Where are the days when things were done properly?

Please can I urge City officials to focus on the best solutions to these problems, rather than a ‘quick fix’ that serves very little purpose.
