The Mtubatuba Netball Club held its annual prize-giving dinner after a successful season

MELISSA Marnitz netted the prestigious Player of the Year award after a superb season at the Mtubatuba Netball Club’s annual prize-giving dinner.

The club had a whirlwind season, starting as the underdogs at the foot of the log, to winning the league.

‘This close knit group of woman proved once again that the sleepy town of Mtubatuba should not be underestimated,’ said player Tarah Bossoff.

Best A side player – Carin Gorden

Best centre court player – Lindi van Niekerk

Player of the Year – Melissa Marnitz
