Flamingo FC fly home with main award

THE uMhlathuze Local Football Association held their annual awards function at the Empangeni Council Chambers on Saturday.

Players and coaching staff were rewarded for their play this season.

Guest speaker Mdu Mhlongo gave the audience some words of advice and emphasised that coaches attend advance coaching courses.

Flamingos FC took home the main award, after the team won the Super League this season.

Awards

U13 – 1 Barcelona FC (Ngwelezane) and 2 Happy Stars FC (eNseleni).

U15 – 1 Zindos FC (eSikhaleni) and 2 FC Heroes (Ngwelezane).

U17 – 1 Flamingo FC (Ngwelezane) and 2 Home Boys FC (eSikhaleni).

Champ of Chmaps – Home Boys FC (eSikhaleni).

Super League – 1 Flamingo FC (Ngwelezane) and 2 Citizens FC (eNseleni).
