ANDREW Goddard (5 handicap) and Matthew Vermaak (21 handicap) combined forces to card 47 points and claim victory at the Empangeni Country Club golf day on Saturday.
The pair put together a solid round which included 5 birdies and a handful of pars.
Second to fifth place had to be decided with count-out after four pairs carded 44 points.
J Ndaba (4th), L Landman (9th), F van Zyl (14th) and B Dafel (17th) all won nearest to the pin awards.
