Thandanani crowned 20/20 champions

THANDANANI Cricket Club claimed the Second Division 20/20 title when they beat uMhlathuze Cricket Club by 7 wickets in the finals played at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex recently.

uMhlathuze padded up first and were bowled out for a low scoring 61, with Nathan Alexander (12) and Caleb Alexander (12) top scoring for their team.

Mbulelo Dlamini 3/3, Happy Ndlovu 2/16, Nkosi Ntuli 2/13 and Sanele Mthiyane 28 got just reward for putting the nut in the right areas.

Thandanani reached 64/3 in the 15th over to claim victory and the bragging rights for 2015.

Zakhele Ntuli (28 not out) and Sbusiso Ndlela (18) got their side over the line.

Julian 2/18 and Cameron 1/12 tried their best with ball in hand, but could not prevent Thandanani from reaching the total.
