Close call for Bay Primary

The RBCS boys combined U11 and U13 team batted first and scored 74/6 in their allotted time at the crease

THE old adage ‘It’s not over till the fat lady sings’ proved true when Richards Bay Primary School (RBPS) scored the winning runs on the final delivery against Richards Bay Christian School (RBCS) in their cricket match at the uMhlathuze Central Sports Complex.

The RBCS boys combined U11 and U13 team batted first and scored 74/6 in their allotted time at the crease.

Daniel Muldoon (26) and Mackenzie Gouws (16) top scored for their side with the willow.

RBPS reached 75/7 to pick up a narrow three-wicket victory, despite the efforts of top bowlers Keitaro Mohan and Yadeel Marimuthu.
