WATCH: Epic journey brings endurance paddler to Richards Bay

The Purposed Paddler recently set out on a gruelling 2 000km challenge

HILLCREST paddler Stuart Geldart (24), has embarked on an epic 2 000km journey from Kosi Bay to Cape Town, with the aim of raising R50 000 for NGO Adopt a River.

The Umzinyathi Canoe Club member decided to embark on this three-to-four month journey to do his bit for the environment.

Stuart, AKA The Purposed Paddler, cruised in to Richards Bay on Monday morning after paddling from Niyogi beach to Alkantstrand.
