THE sold-out 2025 MTN 8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch promises to be a spectacle at Mbombela Stadium tonight (Saturday).

This is a repeat of last year’s showdown, where Orlando Pirates won 3-1. Stellies will be out for revenge, while the Buccaneers aim to cement their status as the undisputed MTN 8 champions with the full bragging rights.

Speaking in the Zululand Observer media room during their visit for the trophy parade, Lehlohonolo Majoro is confident that the Sea Robbers will repeat their success from last year, while Vuyo Mere says he does not want to put his head on the block for anyone; however, he will applaud anyone who triumphs tonight.
