Get ready for the Hippo run

The annual South32 Hippo Marathon has been set for 11 April and entries close on 23 March

The date has been set and the diaries are being marked for the annual South32 Hippo Marathon on 11 April.

This is a biggie for local and visiting runners, who have the choice of the 42.2km marathon (R450), 21.1km half marathon (R350) and the 10km run (R300).

The event will be hosted by the Zululand Multi Sport Club, and entries are online only at www.msem.co.za. Entries close on 23 March and no late entries will be accepted.

All finishers will receive medals and merchandise valued at R380, including shirt, drawstring bag, peak cap and branded socks.

As always, the vibe will be terrific, with an athlete chill zone including ice baths and massages.
