It is always a bitter-sweet moment when I pen my final farewell to you as a matric group – our very special and entirely unique Class of 2019. As I look back over your years at Grantleigh, and particularly your final year, I fondly remember the fun and the laughter that have echoed through our corridors and around our matric quad; I remember the wonderfully talented artists and actors, musicians, sportsmen and -women and our amazing academics. You have made us so proud and we rejoice with you. I am so excited about all that lies ahead of you – the studies, the careers, the travels, the marriages and families. Know that your legacy remains in our school – a legacy that encourages us to unite, to embrace our differences and to move forward with a common purpose. To God be the glory.
