New plans for morning market
A coffee and gift shop and Wi-Fi hotspot is open every day, excluding Sundays.
THE Empangeni Saturday morning market is a Zikulise community upliftment initiative and over the years has attracted many stall holders and visitors.
The market will now take on a ‘new look’. It will be more informal and this will have several advantages over the ‘old’ market.
The centre will be open every Saturday morning instead of once a month. Stall holders can hire tables to market and sell their products, or non-profit organisations may raise funds for their charities.
Businesses can even hire the courtyard at the centre to host shows, competitions, children’s parties and even exhibitions for performers or artists.
