7 unusual facts about celebs

Did you know Elvis Presley was actually a blonde.

EVER wanted to know the truth behind your favourite classic Hollywood star’s major scandal? Or maybe the truth behind their seemingly perfect hairdo that makes their name famous? After some serious digging, it’s crazy what hair raising facts you can find about your most loved celebrities.

Elvis Presley

The jaw dropping singer/actor who made all the girls drool back in the day with his charming smile and gorgeous dark hair is in fact… a blonde. Yes, this classic Hollywood hunk started dying his hair in high school since darker hair was obviously more appealing to the girls.

Adolf Hitler

Even though he was one of the cruelest men in history, Hitler still tried his best to be dashing for his supporters, but obviously it just wasn’t enough. One of his ballsier associates once told him that his short mustache was really unfashionable, to which he so boldly replied, ‘If it is not the fashion now, it will be because I wear it’. Luckily, it is still seriously out of fashion.

Steve Jobs

Funny enough, the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc., became a vegan and it wasn’t because he really liked apples. Jobs became a vegan because he believed the diet would eliminate the need to bathe… Which it most certainly does not, so don’t try it.

Bill Gates

Another genius of his time. During his high school years, Gates was given the task of writing the code for the programme that scheduled classes. Being a male, of course, he altered the code to put himself in a class with mostly female students.

Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny)

In 1961, Blanc was involved in a near-fatal car accident which resulted in a triple skull fracture and a three-week long coma. After many failed attempts to awaken Blanc, the doctor tried a different approach. He asked, ‘Bugs, can you hear me?’ and in Bugs Bunny’s voice, Blanc replied, ‘What’s up, Doc?’. The doctor was only able to speak to Blanc by addressing him as his characters until he was out of his coma.

Nicolas Cage

Cage, besides just being incredibly awesome, in fact owned a pet octopus. He stated that studying its movements helped him with his acting, when we all really know that he got it because, well, he’s Nicolas Cage.

Dr Seuss

Saving the best for last, Dr Seuss never ceases to amaze me. The famous story, ‘Green Eggs and Ham’, was written to win a bet with his publisher, who apparently claimed Seuss could not write a book using only 50 different words. Green Eggs and Ham became one of the best-selling children’s books of all time.
