Young footballers to compete in Dusty Sports Occasional Knockouts PBO tournament

Dusty Sports Occasional Knockouts (DUSOK) PBO to host tournament with the aim of fighting substance abuse in Tsakani.

Tsakani – The Dusty Sports Occasional Knockouts (DUSOK) PBO will be hosting the Fight Against Substance Abuse Sports Challenge, on June 12, at Tsakani Stadium.

This tournament will be hosted in conjunction with the Gauteng Community Safety Take Charge Sports sector and the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation.

Four teams for netball and soccer will participate in a knockout format with three sets of games.

Mandla Gininda said the event is aimed at encouraging young players from indulging in substance abuse and to lead a drug-free lifestyle.

Stakeholders like SANCA, SAIDA and the social development department will be conducting outreach programmes at the stadium.
