Tsakani – Football fans were kept on the edge of their seats as Real Heroes and Seventeen Masters battled it out in a thrilling Women’s Day Tournament at Plus Ground in Tsakani on August 9.

The closely contested match saw both teams fighting for every opportunity, with neither side willing to give the other an easy path to victory.

After an intense encounter that could not be decided in regulation time, the match went to a penalty shootout, adding further drama to an already tense contest.

Seventeen Masters held their nerve when it mattered most, securing a 3-2 victory on penalties over Real Heroes.

Seventeen Masters coach Tshepo Molise expressed his gratitude following the victory, thanking the players for their commitment and the supporters for standing behind the team.

Molise said the win was a testament to the team’s determination and hard work, particularly in a match that required composure until the final whistle.

“I am beyond happy that we won the match. We worked hard and showed the will to win the game. My players have made me so proud,” he said.

The Real Heroes coach could not be reached for comment.
