House robbery in KwaThema

No one was injured during a house robbery that occurred in KwaThema last Thursday.

KwaThema police spokesman, Captain Ntsane Ntsane says the robbery happened around 3am. He says two armed suspects gained entrance through the kitchen window and found the victim (41) fast asleep with her children.

The suspects demanded a laptop, cash and bank cards and the victim gave them her bank cards, cell phone and an amount of R350.

The suspects also took a plasma TV and other house appliances before leaving the scene using the victim’s car that was later found at Chaka Street in KwaThema.

No shots were fired and no arrest has been made. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects is asked to contact KwaThema Police Station on 011 812 4612.
