Scouts from Tsakane and Duduza where seen out and about in KwaThema on Saturday and Duduza on Sunday.
The group is made up of children from different primary schools including Mandlethu, Mangosuthu, Michael Zulu, James Nkosi, Zakheni, Dan Radebe, Sbonisiwe and Roseview.
The group was celebrating Lord Robert Baden-Powell’s birthday known as BP Day.
He founded the international Scouting movement in England in 1907.
Nosisi Plaatjie is a teacher and has been a Scouter since 1983.
She says the movement focuses on ‘modelling behaviour, morals and values of the Scouts’.
Young people are also taught responsibility, respect and leadership.
Cub Scouts is where young Scouts start, between the ages of seven and 11 years, after which they become Scouts until they are adults and then become Rovers.
