According to KwaThema police spokesman Captain Mandla Phori the suspects aged between 20 and 21 were arrested along the KwaThema Extension Three Tonk Metre by the police who were patrolling in that area.
He says the police noticed that the suspects were carrying steel poles which they suspect they were going to sell at a nearby scrapyard.
The suspects were arrested on the scene and are expected to appear in KwaThema Magistrate’s Court soon facing a charge of possession of suspected stolen property.
