Bernard dies at 42

Kgwale Bernard Mashao died at Belabela Hospital after a short illness.

Mashao passed matric in 1991 at Malebo High School in Limpopo.

To pursue his studies he went to study a teacher’s diploma at the Mokopane College of Education until 1997.

In 1998 he got a certificate in Marketing and Research from Damelin and in 2007 Mashao obtained the advanced certificate in Education from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.

In 2009 he received the Bachelor of Education Honours degree in Environmental Education from the University of Johannesburg.

To start his career, Mashao worked as an ABET facilitator from 1998 until 2000.

In 2001 he worked as a surveyor at the statistics SA before being part of the staff at Kenenth Masikela Secondary School in KwaThema as an English and Geography teacher from 2004 until his death.

Mashao leaves behind his father, sister, Helen Mashao and two children, Palesa and Tlamelo Mashao.

His funeral service will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at Phagameng in Limpopo from 6am and the cortège will leave for Modimolle Cemetery at 7am.
