Less fortunate residents receive donations of clothes
KwaThema - The Branches of the Vine Christian Centre donated clothing to the community of Marikana Section, Extension Three, on Saturday morning.
Pastor Solly Ngwenya says this was the centre’s first outreach programme for the year and is aimed at giving back.
Clothing was donated to less fortunate members of the community.
Ngwenya says they will be doing this again on July 5 to a different township in Kwatsaduza.
Ward 77 councillor Wilson Busakwe says he is thankful to the centre for taking the initiative to donate to the residents of his ward.
Community member John Sithole says gestures like this show some people still care about the disadvantaged community.
