Tsakane educator dies
Tsakane - Louisa Nomsa Nyembe (Nkosi) died on June 19, at the age of 70, after a long illness.
Nyembe was born on November 11, 1944, in Tsakane.
She matriculated at the Marian Hill Secondary School in KwaZulu-Natal and started her teaching career at St David’s Primary School, in the early ’70s.
Nyembe then taught at Mandlethu Primary School, from 1978 till 2012, when she retired.
Her daughter, Thembi Nhlabatsi, says her late mother was a people’s person who cared for her community.
She is survived by her daughter, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will start at 7.30am, at the Roman Catholic Church in Tsakane, corner of Sotho and Ndabezitha streets.
The cortége will leave for the Tsakane Cemetery at 11am.
