Local tuck-shop owner dies
Duduza- Resident Shoeshoe Joel Dube died on July 3 at the age of 59.
Dube was born on July 23 1956 in Charterston Nigel.
As a tuck-shop and tavern owner Dube was active in keeping his community safe from crime and other illegal activities.
Dube is survived by his wife Duduzile Mokoena, his daugthers Gabisile Mokoena, Palesa Mkhize and Nonhlanhla Mdluli, his only son Thabo Mokoena, nine grandchildren and his sisters Puseletso and Sibongile Dube.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 11.
The church service will start at 7am at the Salema Zion Church on the corner of Selepe and Motwana Streets in Duduza.
Cortege will leave for the Nigel Cemetery at 9am.
