Bringing classic music to Kwatsaduza
Kwatsaduza – Kwaze Kwaaasa Ensemble is a music group that is readying itself to wow classic music lovers with a fresh breeze of melodious sounds.

The recently established group, which came into being in September last year, was formed by five members who combined their talents and skills for the creation of a much-needed live music performing act, aimed at competing against similar groups within and beyond the country’s borders.
“Kwaze Kwasa means ‘It is finally Dawn’, and is more than just a name for us, but a passionate expression of relief and an awakening of hope and joy for the setting in of dawn, and ushering in a brighter day filled with possibilities and chances to explore opportunities.
“In the short period of the group’s existence, Kwaze Kwaaasa Ensemble has lived up to its ambition of taking the classic music scene by storm when it wowed audiences with matured and polished renditions.
“On December 5, we will be co-hosting, together with St Andrews Anglican Church, our first major concert called the ‘Year End Classic Celebration’, at the church,” says one of the founding members, Tim Manana.
The church is situated in Ncwadi Street, Vergenoeg Section and the concert starts at 3pm.
He encourages Ekurhuleni music lovers to support this event.
