This comes after they were arrested on Monday at around 1pm.
“While EMPD First Responder Unit (FRU) and traffic wardens were on patrol along Ndabezitha Street, they saw three men carrying a steel palisade fence.
“The suspects were stopped, questioned and taken to Sindani Park nearby where it was discovered that part of the fence was missing.
“The caretaker confirmed that the palisade belongs to the park,” says EMPD spokesman Clifford Shongwe.
He says the fence the suspects were carrying was the same green colour as the one at the park.
The suspects, aged between 24 and 30, were immediately arrested and detained at Tsakane Police Station.
