Ward councillor meets with residents

Kwatsaduza - To highlight and inform the community of Ward 111 about the developments that will be implemented by the metro within the 2016/17 financial year, ward councillor Tshepiso Mondlane met with residents, recently.

He told residents about the short-term plans, which include parks in Extensions Three in KwaThema, Five in Langaville and 10 in John Dube; tarred roads in John Dube and maintenance of mast lights in Vlakfontein and street lights in Dunnottar.

In the long-term, the de-registration problem in KwaThema Extension Three will also be attended to, because many residents have the problem of the stands on which they built their shacks not belonging to them, but being registered in a different person’s name.

Electricity issues will be addressed and, in Langaville Extension 10, stand sizes will be investigated.

Residents say they welcome their new councillor and hope he will serve the vast community of Ward 111 effectively and efficiently.
