According to police spokesman, Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, it’s alleged that when police were patrolling along Sotweni Street, they were alerted that there was a man moving around the street with a firearm in his possession.

The police then looked for the suspicious man, until they noticed the described person.
The man was stopped and searched – and the firearm and ammunition was found in his possession.
But since he failed to produce the license, the suspect was arrested.
