Tsakane - The police confiscated stolen property from a local pawn store on Wednesday last week.

Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, spokesperson for the Tsakane police, says the owner of the property identified the goods in the shop.

“The complainant reported her stolen property which includes (car speakers and radio) out of her vehicle, to the Tsakane police.

“After some investigation and trace by the police, goods were identified by the lawful owner,” she says.

Mngomezulu says no one has been arrested and the goods are still in possession of the police.

“We are calling on the community not to purchase anything that is sold without a receipt because this is unlawful,” she says.
