KwaThema man beaten and robbed in the street

The victim was grabbed and choked by men who stole only R50 in the end

Sonny Sebaba Masemola was walking along Ndimande Street in Overline when he was approached by two unknown men.

According to Capt Sibuyi, spokesperson of KwaThema Police Station, the victim was grabbed and choked at 1am on Monday.

He was then struck with a glass.

The suspects took his mobile device and a R50 note from his pocket.

He also sustained some injuries after being kicked in the face.

They left him, on the ground, at the scene.

No arrests have been made and Sibuyi appeals to anyone who may have more information about the crime and/or the suspects to come forward.
