KwaThema – A 19-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of 34-year-old Tshepo Mabane on Saturday evening.
It is alleged the two were under the influence of alcohol and on their way home from a night of clubbing.
KwaThema police spokesperson Captain Thabo Sibuyi says the deceased was proposing love to the suspect who was not interested.
“A commotion started and the deceased started dragging the suspect out of the car.
“The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased twice in his neck.
“He managed to walk to his home but soon collapsed and died.
“He was certified dead by the paramedics.
“The suspect was arrested and will appear in the Springs Magistrate’s Court soon,” he says.
Sibuyi is urging residents not to take the law into their own hands.
“Any criminal activities and abuse must be reported to the nearest police station,” he says.
