Shooting in KwaThema leaves congregant wounded

A congregant has been left wounded after a shooting outside the ZZC along Raminne Street off Rabuku Street on Saturday evening.

KwaThema – It is alleged the congregants were waiting for a bus to Jan Furse outside their church when the shooting started.

KwaThema police spokesperson Captain Thabo Sibuyi says it is alleged the group heard gunshots and the victim screaming that he was shot.

“After the shooting stopped they went inside the church and noticed that the victim was bleeding from his left hand.

“He was rushed to Pholosong Hospital for medical attention and the police were informed about the shooting.

“No one has been arrested and investigations are underway,” he says.
