Tsakane – Two men, aged between 21 and 28, were arrested by the EMPD Public Order Policing Task Team members following a tip-off from concerned members of the Tsakane community on Thursday.
A 9mm pistol with three live rounds of ammunition, with its make and serial number filed off, as well as a stolen vehicle were recovered along Ndaba Drive at about 3pm.
EMPD Spokesperson Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago says the police received information that a male passenger in a black Audi sedan was in possession of a firearm.
