“No one was injured and the empty cartridges were found at the scene."

KwaThema – Police are investigating a house break-in case after two men forced entry into a house along Lumatha Street on Sunday afternoon.

It is alleged the complainant, Tabitha Kgotlelelo Masimola (33), was busy cooking when two armed men walked into her kitchen and demanded money and other valuables.

KwaThema police spokesperson Capt Thabo Sibuyi says it is alleged one of the unknown men entered the room without knocking and immediately grabbed her by the neck.

“The suspect raised the volume of the radio and fired two shots, demanding money.

“Mcebisi gave the suspects his bank card with the pin and two cellphones,” he says.

Sibuyi adds the suspects further instructed the victims to hide on the other side of their bed and not to move until they have left.

“No one was injured and the empty cartridges were found at the scene,” he says.
