Learner finishes exam before she gives birth

BREAKING NEWS!!! Tsakane – A seventeen year old Grade 12 learner from a secondary school in Tsakane gave birth during a mathematics first paper on Friday.
The mother was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where she later gave birth.
The events were confirmed by the Gauteng MEC of Basic Education, Panyaza Lesufi on his Twitter account on Friday afternoon.
Attempts to reach the Department of Basic Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona for comment proved unsuccessful at the time of publishing.
Learners were writing Mathematics P1, Mathematical Literacy P1 and Technical Mathematics P1, according the National Senior Certificate timetable.
