Duduza – One man was fatally shot and killed and two injured during shoot-out along Barkley street, on Saturday afternoon.
It is alleged that two friends driving a white Mazda 2 arrived at a house in Nigel to collect their friend. A white VW Polo stopped next to the driveway and an unknown man got out of the car and started shooting at them.

Duduza Police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka says the owner of the Mazda 2, who was 28 years old, was already sitting in the drivers’ seat when he was shot several times, while the other two were shot on the hand and back respectively. They were rushed to hospital.
“The motive of the shooting is unknown at this point. We are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder,” he says.
