Infant’s body found in plastic bag

According to Tsakani SAPS communications officer Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, the man checked the contents of the bag and saw the baby.

Tsakani – The body of an infant was found on Monday in a plastic bag on Nkukhu Street in Extension Three, Langaville. It is alleged that a resident was leaving his house en route to work when he noticed a plastic bag hanging on the gate. According to Tsakani SAPS communications officer Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, the man checked the contents of the bag and saw the baby.

“Paramedics were called to the scene and confirmed the boy was dead,” she said. A case of concealment of birth is under investigation and police are appealing to anyone with information to contact Lt Col Burger at the Tsakani SAPS on 011 363 5300. Follow us on:
