Sector one celebrates dedicated volunteer

Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema police sector one recently hosted a farewell for its former chairperson, Elizabeth Mkhwebane, at the Phomolo Training Centre.
The event was to celebrate Mkhwebane’s long service in the sector crime forum.
Sector manager Sgt Percy Mabanga said Mkhwebane has been doing voluntary work for the CPF and Kwa-Thema SAPS for almost 35 years.

“Six of those years were dedicated to working with the sector one executive, specifically in making sure she contributes in fighting crime.
“We appreciate the support she has shown in fighting crime in the area through the years.
“We are hoping young people who have worked closely with her have learnt a lot from her and will carry the baton,” he said.
