The body of a man was found in the Ekuthuleni informal settlement last Saturday.

According to Const Nkululeko Magudulela, communications officer at the Kwa-Thema Police Station, the deceased suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
A case of murder was opened and will be investigated by the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit.
“The motive of the murder is still undetermined at this stage; however, no stone will be left unturned in the quest to find answers and to bring the perpetrator or perpetrators to book,” said Magudulela.
