Body found near Kwa-Thema Hostel
“Police were able to identify him and track his family using his driver's licence that was found on him,” said Magudulela.
Kwa-Thema – The body of Sibusiso Ignatius Magubane was found at Kwa-Thema Hostel on Wednesday at about 17:00.
Kwa-Thema SAPS was alerted by the induna of Kwa-Thema Hostel, who was notified by a concerned resident after he came across what he suspected was the body of a deceased man in the open field along Habede street opposite the hostel.
Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Const Nkululeko Magudulela said the man was found lying face up, with puncture wounds to his face and chest.

“He was certified dead by paramedics on scene. It is unclear what caused his fatal injuries.
“Police were able to identify him and track his family using his driver’s licence that was found on him,” said Magudulela.
The deceased was found to be a resident of Radebe Street in Extension Three.
Kwa-Thema SAPS station commander Col Mareketle Thobejane pleaded with anyone who has information that may lead to the arrest and persecution of the person or persons responsible for the death of Magubane to contact the Kwa-Thema crime office on 011 812 4619.
